Save The Snows

Save the Snows of Kilimanjaro is an ambitious initiative designed to increase awareness of the
destruction of the summit glaciers resulting from rampant deforestation around the base of Mount
Kilimanjaro. Replanting trees and restoring the traditional forest barrier will dramatically slow the retreat
of the ice and potentially reverse the destruction of one of the most ecologically diverse regions on earth.
Success hinges on activating a critical base of concerned parties through hands-on engagement at tree
planting nurseries.
